Firstly, our time of the day experiment was conducted to test the aperture of our camera that will be used to shoot our whole teaser trailer. In the video down below, you will see Michael (Group member) wearing the same clothing in the exact same location while doing the same actions. This was imperative as we would needed to ensure our experiment was fair which would furthermore help us avoid any errors or contingencies that may occur during the experiment. Our horror teaser as a whole will include a lack of lighting to ensure dark atmospheres and environments are portrayed , this is important to ensure our trailer looks realistic as a horror. Due to the use of dim lighting, a time of the day experiment was needed so that we could see the difference between dark lighting, open lighting and just in between. This would aid with filming as we could see which types of lighting was most effective and suitable for our shots, the experiment therefore helped ensure we used the right lighting to maintain the quality of our shots.
